Each Golfer is Unique
Your Unique Golf Fitness Program
A customized golf fitness program will be designed for you based on the results of your golf fitness evaluation. This program is specifically designed for your level of movement patterns. You may start with corrective exercises to progress you to a level that your body will allow you to complete more difficult exercises. The program is gradually progressed as you progress with your exercises. This program is designed to be completed at your gym or in your home. It also is designed to be completed while you are traveling away from home.
There are thousands of exercises that can be completed by golfers to improve their golf performance. The key to developing a customized fitness program is to complete exercises in order to improve and maintain the mobility and stability of the functional golfer. A golfer's swing will get worse if exercises and activities are not completed in a specific order and progression.
Evaluation of Past Fitness History and Injuries
Knowing your fitness and medical history allows me to make your golf fitness program at a level you have completed in the past, further evaluate past injuries, and assist in the decision making process for your program design that will be more effective and successful.
Movement Patterns and TPI Testing
The Golf Fitness Evaluation is comprised of functional evaluations to determine how your body affects your swing mechanics and biomechanics. These assessments of a golfer's mobility, flexibility, stability, strength, balance, coordination, and power allow us to understand how your body affects your swing mechanics and biomechanics. The complexity of your evaluation will be determined based on your history of injuries, golf fitness history, golf experience, and your personal goals. You will receive a detailed report telling how your movement assessments compare to the norms of golfers determined by Titleist Performance Institute (TPI).
Through TPI's research, it has been determined that every other joint in the body is a mobility joint and on each side of this joint is a stability joint. The functional movement assessments testing allows Golf Fitness 4 You to determine whether your body is within the norms of mobility and stability that allow you to complete a normal golf swing movement.
Golf Fitness Handicap
Your Golf Fitness Handicap is a summary your movement patterns and TPI testing. This helps you understand how your physical limitations are affecting your progress towards your goals. It is an easy way for you to have a numerical number of your fitness level and be able to to track your overall improvement. This allows you will have a clearer vision of your current golf fitness level and track the improvement of your fitness level.
3D K-Vest Evaluation
The development of 3D technology and analysis of the data over the last 12 years has allowed us to understand how a golfer uses his or her body to efficiently transfer rotational energy from the lower body, to the upper body, through the arms, and hands to the golf club. Optimizing this movement pattern in the downswing and in the transition from backswing to downswing is essential for developing speed, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Your body is the engine of the golf club. In simple terms, efficiency is the ratio of energy input to energy output.
We analyze your kinematic sequence of how your body swings a golf club. The kinematic sequence is your swing signature, and it reveals the efficiency by which you generate speed and power. Understanding your swing mechanics is the foundation for everything else you do to improve your game.
The unleashed platform combines visual and auditory biofeedback to provide players with feedback on swing drills (full swing/short game) as well as stability/mobility based exercises. When a player is in a desired position, they receive visual feedback of a green 3D animation while music simultaneously provides positive reinforcement. Once they are out of the desired range, the animation turns red and the music ceases.
