New Player Information Form

What to wear - You will need gym clothes that are comfortable. A T-shirt or golf shirt, shorts, and gym shoes will allow us to see and evaluate your movement.

What to bring - Complete the online form and bring it with you to your first session. You will also need your 5 iron if it is determined that you need to complete the K-Vest 3-D testing.

Consultation - We will initially review your current health, fitness level, and any past injuries with you. This will allow us to learn more about your conditions, goals, and expectations and how we can create a custom screening and fitness program to best meet your needs.

Custom Golf Fitness and Performance Testing - The most efficient swing is not the same for every golfer, because their efficiency is unique to their body. To achieve an efficient swing you must be screened to determine your level of golf fitness. After reviewing your health history, goals, current level of your golf fitness and performance, Greg will discuss recommendations of golf specific fitness testing that is most appropriate for your current golf level. This screening involves an assessment of physical fitness, movement quality, swing mechanics, and biomechanics. He will also discuss Golf Performance Testing that is appropriate depending on your fitness and performance level.

Results of your testing- Your information will be reviewed and used to create a Golf Specific Plan that will include corrective exercises to resolve any current deficits and fitness training to improve fitness levels that will directly affect your swing mechanics. You will receive a written assessment of your movement patterns and this will be compared to data from professional golfers tested by Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Your results will be used to determine your Golf Fitness Handicap.  This is based upon the comparison of your results to the fitness level of professional golfers. The Golf Fitness Handicap is on the same scale of +6 to 36 as your golf handicap index.

K-Vest Evaluation Reports - You will receive two reports for the K-Vest 3-D Testing. One report will be for your Swing Efficiency Summary and the other will be Swing Summary. The Swing Efficiency Summary indicates how much of a golfer's physical energy in the swing is concerted into useful power throughout impact. The Swing Summary Report identifies both strengths and weaknesses at 6 different points in the swing.

TPI Golf Fitness Program - A custom fitness program is designed to meet the needs of each individual golfer based upon the results of their testing and the amount of time the golfer has available to complete their fitness program. A website is made for the golfer that they have access to from any device that can access the internet.

Follow-up - Greg Kaumeyer is available for follow-up and questions by text, email, or cell phone. He is available to assist you to make sure that you are able to complete your custom fitness program correctly. Each golfer follows up with Greg during their fitness program. The number of times that a golfer meets with Greg is determine on their first meeting based upon their individual needs.
